 Nel cuore dell'umbria, a soli quattro chilometri da Deruta, salendo per una strada nel bosco, completamente immersi nel verde tra ulivi, vigneti, campi di grano e girasole, si arriva su un poggetto, dove sorge l'ANTICA FATTORIA DEL COLLE, composta da due casali perugini dell'800 in pietra e mattoni, interamente e sapientemente restaurati. In questa oasi di pace e tranquillità avrete modo di riavvicinarvi alla campagna e ai suoi ritmi, ritrovando dentro voi stessi odori, sapori, immagini e ricordi che sono comunque celati in ognuno di noi e che aspettano solo di ritornare alla memoria. Si è cercato infatti, nel riportare a nuova vita quella che era una tipica fattoria dell'800, di conservare la singolarità architettonica dei casali, mantenendo tra l'altro i soffitti in travi e pianelle, e di curare l'arredamento con mobili d'epoca, permettendo così agli ospiti di fare un salto all'indietro nel tempo, pur con tutte le comodità che la vita moderna ci fa apparire irrinunciabili. Troverete ad accogliervi Alessandro e Anna che, se lo vorrete, saranno ben lieti di farvi partecipare ai lavori agricoli e di mettervi a parte dei “segreti” della terra, nonché presentarvi gli abitanti della fattoria: la mucca, i maiali, i conigli, il gallo e famiglia, le anatre, i piccioni .... Nell'Antica Fattoria del Colle potrete soggiornare a vostra scelta in stanze o mini-appartamenti con angolo cottura, tutti con ingresso indipendente, bagno privato con doccia, riscaldamento e dotazione completa di biancheria. In fattoria potrete alternare il divertimento al riposo (o allo studio) con nuotate nella piscina terrazzata, incastonata tra un uliveto a monte e un vigneto a valle, partite a bocce, passeggiate a piedi o in mountain-bikes lungo piccole strade bianche di campagna e poi ancora... c'è il ping-pong, il biliardo, una vasta scelta di libri e, per chi non sa proprio farne a meno, anche la TV. E poi, a due passi dall'Azienda, per gli appassionati del cavallo, c'è la possibilità di fare passeggiate e lezioni di equitazione. E per le serate potrete scegliere tra leggere, conversare o giocare a carte in uno dei due saloni, magari davanti ad un camino con un bel fuoco acceso, oppure “andare per sagre paesane”, di cui si ha solo l'imbarazzo della scelta, per assistere a spettacoli teatrali o musicali. E poi, a tavola, piatti gustosi e genuini, dove accanto ai “classici” riscoprirete antiche ricette regionali, e non solo umbre, tutte realizzate quasi esclusivamente con i prodotti della Fattoria ma soprattutto con tanta passione e dedizione da chi ritiene che la tavola, oltre ad essere una gioia per gli occhi e per la gola, lo sia anche per lo spirito.

 In the heart of Umbria, only four kilometres from Deruta, reached by a road through the woods, the ANTICA FATTORIA DEL COLLE rises on a little hill surrounded by the green of olive groves, vineyards, fields of wheat and sunflowers, with its two stone and brick Perugian farmhouses dating from last century, which have been fully and skillfully restored. In this oasis of peace and quiet , guests can discover the rhythms of the countryside, together with that memory of smells, tastes and mental images hidden within each of us, only awaiting the right moment to spring to mind. Great care has been taken to bring back to life what was once a typical farmhouse of last century, preserving its architectural features, with its ceilings of beam and tiles, and providing furniture of the period, thus allowing guests to take a step backward in time while enjoying all the essential comforts of modern living You will be welcomed by Alessandro and Anna, who will be only too happy to let you take part in farmwork if you wish to, and will disclose to you the "secrets" of the land, as well as introduce you the farm's inhabitants: the cow, pigs, rabbits, the cock and his family, the ducks and pigeons... According to choice, the ANTICA FATTORIA DEL COLLE provides either rooms or mini-apartments with cooking facilities, all of wich have their own entrance, own bathroom with shower, heating and all necessary linens. At the Fattoria, you can alternate amusement and rest (or study) with a swim in the pool on its terrace tucked between an olive grove above and the vineyard below, play bowls or go walking or riding on mountain-bikes along the little unpaved country roads. If you need more, there is also ping-pong, billards, a well-stocked library and-for those who cannot do without-even TV. Afterwards, near our farmhouse, there is the possibility for horse riding lovers to enjoy some riding around our country-side and if necessary take lessons. In the evenings guests read, talk or play cards in one of the two sitting rooms, perhaps in front of the fire, or else can go to one of many country festivals "sagre paesane", which include plays or musical evenings. At the table, besides tasty and genuine "classical" dishes, you can discover old regional recipes, not only Umbrian, utilizing almost exclusively farm products, and all bearing witness to the philosophy that food should be a joy to the spirit, as well as to the eye and stomach.
