PistoiaPistoia has roman origin ("Pistoria") but lived a moment of splendor under Longobardi dominion in the VIII century. Pistoia lived her apex in the '200, when the bankers lend money to French king and princeps and the city was become larger until the new circle of walls, and the common conquered to the north the steps of Appennino passage against Bologna.
